From a communication agency perspective, the global and pre-launch client role isn't well catered for. The options are either local, tactical agencies or a global network of these agencies. Neither have an offering or expertise specifically designed to meet the more strategic client needs.
This is where our vision lies:

The choice of the term 'ground-breaking' is not empty but deliberate. Looking at how global communication is planned and delivered from the clients perspective, and not from what an agency can offer, yields exciting new products and services.
We've asked ourselves the question "what would a strategic agency who truly are experts focused on global and pre-launch communication think, feel and do?" and we're building an agency to answer it.
To achieve our vision we need to change what clients in a global role look for in an agency. As such, central people need to be 'Mould-Breakers':
- People with distinctive global /international expertise - upstream, working with headquarters, across different markets, from different cultures
- People with more than just the regular tactical agency background - they also have experience as a client, consultant or academic
- People who don't just want to come to work each day to earn a salary but want to be part of building something different and better to what's been before
One of the reasons we started central was we know that people with the outlook and talents outlined above have few choices in where they can develop them. The options for these people are:
- join a small, tactical, privately owned agency with limited room to progress professionally and financially, or
- work for a large client or agency group where you're eventually frustrated by corporate inertia and have no scope for really owning or progressing what you do
Because we understand (and have faced) this, central is a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP), like for example, many firms of lawyers or architects. This allows people to progress so they can both have a formal vote in the direction of the company as well as financially owning part of it.
By extending partnership to the right people central will be able to grow and fulfil the potential we know it has.
